Pram People at Freedom Festival
Pram People by Polyglot Theatre - be a part of the performance with your little one in their pram.
A celebration of community, Pram People rolls out the red carpet for every pram, big or small. Directed by voices through a pair of headphones, secret messages, and other participants, pram users will come together to create a hilarious, serious and surprisingly moving performance. The immersive and colourful spectacle will bring Trinity Square to life, as the pram reclaims its place in public space and society.

There are also have spaces available for on-the-day walk-ups! Simply arrive at the performance area in Trinity Square before the start time and speak to one of the volunteers to sign up.
Taking part is completely free!
One free ticket allows 3 participants to take part - 1 adult, 1 child in a pram and 1 other person (adult or child). Parents or carers who are wheelchair users are welcome to participate with their child on their lap. Families with children in wheelchairs are welcome to participate. The soundscape focuses on the experience of parents or carers with babies and toddlers and buggies and prams, specifically. It may not appeal to families with children older than 4 years in wheelchairs.
Adult participants (those who book in) will be given headphones to wear during the experience. The performance contains stories and prompts in English.
Other family members and friends are welcome to attend for free as observers, and watch the colourful spectacle unfold. Observers do not need to book a ticket.
