Free half-term fun from Healthy Holidays Hull

This half-term, school-age children and young people can look forward to a packed additional programme of completely free activities.
Healthy Holidays – already a staple for families during longer school breaks – will be offering a slightly smaller version of its usual exciting variety of sessions, with nutritious food included.
The programme will run from Saturday 15 February to Friday 21 February. All are welcome to attend, and activities on offer include a full SEND programme, multi sports, outdoor education, go-karting, street dance and musical theatre, cooking sessions, football, futsal, animal-handling and more.
Cllr Linda Tock, Portfolio Holder for Childrens, Young People, Families and Learning, said: “We’re really pleased to expand the Healthy Holidays Hull programme this half term. The programme is already a staple throughout longer school breaks, and we know children and young people as well as their parents will really welcome this news.
“Healthy Holidays Hull really is invaluable – it means every family has opportunities for activities, sports, entertainment, arts or whatever they enjoy, without having to worry about finding the money. Parents also have the assurance that their children and young people are getting nutritious food while they’re there.
“I’d urge all parents and carers to have a look at the website and see what’s on offer – there’s bound to be something their child will enjoy, no matter what they’re into”.
