Infant feeding

Support

You will see your midwife postnatally in hospital, at home or at a clinic. Your health visitor will visit between day 10 to 14 at home. After that, you will be asked to attend one of the child health clinics around the city.

Your baby feeding practitioner will see breastfeeding mothers shortly -

  • after birth
  • on day 3
  • on day 7

Even if you started off bottle feeding, you can retrun or swap to breastfeeding at anytime. There is support available to help you do this.
