Feeding is an essential part of caring and bonding with your baby. You may have lots of questions around your feeding options and how to get feeding off to a good start. Don’t worry! There are lots of ways to find the answers to your questions!
There is information in your green maternity notes and within your red book which you will receive from your health visitor before your baby is born. Please do take the opportunity to talk with your midwife or health visitor during your pregnancy to discuss your thoughts and feelings. You can contact a midwife on 01482 382 658 and a health visitor on 01482 259 600.

Come along to one of the local Hey Baby antenatal classes. These are held all over the city in community venues and at Hull Women & Children's Hopsital.

Remember you don’t need to decide how to feed your baby until they are born as you may find you feel differently when they arrive. However, gaining information whilst pregnant is the best way to make an informed choice around how to feed your baby.
